General Discussion
Some say it’s because of our attention span, some say it’s a matter of budget. Busy schedules, the allure
of quick entertainment and even global inflation have reportedly led to a growing trend of shorter films.
Whatever the real reason could be, some filmmakers are now attempting to capture audiences with
condensed storytelling within shorter durations. Despite this, a few long films have been successfully
produced in recent years. So, although the demand for concise, impactful storytelling has risen, we
believe there is still a place for the immersive experience that only longer films can provide. Agree or
disagree?
